Abbott Farm School Tours
Abbott Farms School Tours are 1 ½ hours long and include a wagon ride. We allow 1 adult chaperone per each 6 children at no charge. We expect designated chaperones to stay with the children, help them pick, clean up trash, help with hygiene, and attend closely to our tour guides. Other adult visitors might have a few moments free to visit the country store.
Fall tours with deposit paid by September 1 receive a $1 discount per person. Fall tours booked for September dates can receive another $1 discount. You don’t have to know the exact size of your class to start the booking process, so please plan ahead and call early.
Nearly half of the tour is a wagon ride around to the orchard fields. We may walk to visit the animals in the barnyard, the tunnel slides, or the cider press. Please come dressed for a farm; wear sturdy shoes, and clothes that can get dirty or wet. We give tours rain or shine. Tours are by appointment only with times available to suit your needs.
We make our own cider on-site. Cider is available in gallons and reusable, apple-shaped 8-oz. Sippers. You’re welcome to bring a lunch. If you do, you may reserve the greenhouse for an extra fee. Outdoor picnic tables and grassy areas are available at no charge. If you leave trash on-site please use the appropriate recycle bins and trash bins. Our country store is open during tours for shopping, baked goods, ice cream, bulk foods, and beverages.

Abbott’s Farm is lots of fun.
You can run and play in the sun.
When you look out at the field,
You will see a plow,
Then go see a little cow.
You can say “Hi” to everyone that passes,
Then make fun of my Grandpa’s glasses.
At Abbotts’ there is no way you’ll be sad.
When the day is done,
You can tell your mom
How much fun you had.
Your tour guide here is definitely Jim,
And he’ll be sure to tell you
To watch out for the tree limb.
I know it feels like we just said “Hi,”
But now it’s time to say “Good-bye.”
No, just kidding, we have much more time,
And I hope you enjoy this little Rhyme!
