Sites and Proper Use Information: Click here to go to page

The entrance and site pages can also be accessed

through the main harvest host page on the home of our website

Please do NOT ask store employees.
They DON'T know about RV stays. Really, they don't.
Txt Warren AFTER reading all of this AND looking at the links

Profile Picture
OUR PROFILE PICTURE IS A MAP YOU NEED TO REFERENCE!
See web pages or txt Warren for a map for you phone sooner rather than later.
We usually approve your stay request in a few minutes. If it’s been a few hours,
txt Warren again, because when multiple requests come in simultaneously I can
miss one. It may be A DAY OR MORE before I get to EMAIL/HH/BW messages
so please txt.

Scroll down, & check all the other pages to get info on

  1. THE ONLY entrance to use

  2. Exits

  3. Dog laws we need to follow

  4. When to arrive on a festival days

  5. Site descriptions

  6. Electric

  7. Water

  8. Wifi

  9. Site descriptions and policies

  10. Warrens phone number to txt etc

  11. We are usually NOT available to help you

These directions were amassed through more than 10 years of hosting to help:

  1. find a spot quickly without waiting

  2. So we don’t have to move you later

  3. Hopefully keep you from rig damage

  4. Having to unhook

  5. Snarling parking lot traffic

Please use the reservation system.

  1. It keeps track of and controls availability.

  2. Even for last minute requests.

  3. Use it for cancellations as well.

  4. No confirmations needed

  5. No calls ahead needed

  6. No cancellation calls needed

The reservation system works great for the above. With as many as 8 rigs per
night visiting, please understand we are busy farming. Extra time with RV
arrangements may take away from our time to chat with you, our family and our
sleep. So this material answers most questions

.
Please TXT Warren because tractor noise means I don't hear the phone ring.
Messages or emails through HH/BW mean I have to log in to respond so I may
not see them for a day or two. Please Txt; its faster and less hassle.

Abbott Farms is:

  1. 8 minutes from I90

  2. 16 minutes from I81 downtown Syracuse

  3. There is no check in so there is no check in time.

As for last minute requests, we almost always have room, (we have room for 700
cars on grass) the parking lot is available as well just understand most days we
open at 9 so if you use the store parking lot, you may need to reposition by 9.

Check the map profile picture and the site descriptions below. On Festival
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, (Fall Fest is Sept and Oct, Christmas Fest is
December) its like driving through a busy playground if you come before 4. 5 or
after is an even better arrival time. (Christmas fest goes till 8pm) For anything
earlier on fest days please txt me and see if we can figure something out. The
directions will be different in those cases.

This is a 5th generation farm.

Ice cream, u-pick apples, berries, honey, maple
syrup, produce, cheese, fruit jams, pickles, bakery, fudge, cider press,
pumpkins, and so much more! We have a corn maze, bouncing pillow,

cafe, and we serve breakfast and lunch!
Strawberries in June, and Blueberries in July, Blueberries and Apples in August.
Sweet Cider and Apples in September and we ad Pumpkins in October. Fall
festivals in Sept & Oct and other festivals throughout the year.

During festivals, we have food available.

Abbott Farms Wine & Cidery is a New York State farm winery and is part of
Abbott Farms in Baldwinsville. We specialize in small batch hard ciders made
from apples grown on site. We invite you to experience the different tastes we
have fun creating new ciders. Cidery availability is not always due to more
specialized labor. Summer and Fall weekends are usually open. The rest of the
time it depends on the crew that's on and if someone is old enough and trained.

Families with children:
To cover our costs, All activities, bounce pillow, giant slides, Kid Zone etc is
accessible through the purchase of a wristband, even during the week. Those
are available in the Market or from the sheds during fest.

Ask for the HarvestHost/Boondockers Welcome group rate.

What they cover and what they cost varies
with the season. We have had to gate the property to prohibit non paying guests
from using us as a community park but the RV spots are inside the gate so we
are using the honor system for you RV families.

Help:
People ask what they can do to help, (we like your kind)
1. Litter pick up is much appreciated.
2. Honest reviews on Google, Yelp and Nextdoor, seems the problem customers
post but the happy ones not so much, we would appreciate help getting balanced out

Dog Owners:
We have dogs ourselves so please:
email ONLY a picture of your rabies vaccination
with DOG as the ONLY subject to
apples@abbottfarms.com
Only DOG extra letters will cause the email routing to fail

BY LAW THEY CAN NOT BE:

  1. Inside a food establishment (market or cider mill)

  2. In and around the petting farm animals

  3. In any of the food crop areas (apples, berries, pumpkins etc)

Clean up after them! Leashes are required

We dont allow customers to bring dogs past the parking lot so to be fair and
consistent please note on the east or Syracuse side of the buildings are parking
and pasture paddocks that you can take your dogs to exercise etc.

Water:
Chlorinated potable water is available to fill tanks on the south west corner of or a
new spot behind the Market building. Other water sources may not be potable.
Dumping is available if you have a macerator pump and at least 25' of hose. We
suggest a $5 donation for dumping and water fills. (we want to make it easier but it takes $)

WiFi:
They are all inside metal buildings so if you are out side check by a window.
If the password snapdragon works you can use it
