Abbott Farms response to Covid-19

The safety of our guests and team members is our number one priority. We are working to stay up to date and relay important COVID-19 related information to our team members and implementing new guidelines and barriers for our guests.  Some of these changes that we have personally implemented include:

  • Ensuring ALL team members are following hand washing and glove wearing guidelines as instructed by the proper authorities

  • Preforming health checks with our team members which include temperature monitoring and making sure that everyone working is feeling well

  • Observing precautionary measures and implementing special cleaning/sanitizing protocols inside the market and public areas of the farm

  • Installed new plexiglass barriers designed to protect both guests and team members.

  • Providing gloves and masks to guests upon request. 

  • Installed new hand washing/ sanitizing stations throughout the farm/market.

All guests must wear a face covering in accordance with NY Governor's executive order to be allowed entry into our farm store & U-Pick fields. Face masks must be worn when social distancing cannot be achieved or when indoors. We provide hand sanitizer, located at the entrance and exit of the store when needed. We also ask that our guests limit the handling of products unless being purchased. A team member would be more than happy to assist with any product questions or recommendations. Together we can overcome this.
