About the Event
We are happy to announce that Abbott Farms will be hosting a walkathon benefitting Purpose Farm on Saturday June 19th, 2021 to open our u-pick season. All proceeds raised will be given to Purpose Farm, another local farm, that runs a youth program and animal rescue, who recently experienced a tragic barn fire that claimed several of their dearly beloved animals including Pete the Peacock & Chris P. Bacon the pig.
The process is very simple and everyone can participate! Pledges should be made in a flat rate (i.e. $5, $10, $20) and money should be collected at the time of the pledge. Please use the attached link to print out a sponsor/pledge record sheet. Our goal is for each participant to raise $50 or more for the cause. Pledges will need to be collected at the check in counter on the day of the event.
Included in your registration fee of $35 you will receive a special walkathon t-shirt and a free admission to Abbott Farms Strawberry Festival that will also be taking place that weekend. All registrations must be turned into Abbott Farms by Monday, June 7, 2021. Register Here!
